ROCKAWAY, NJ: The V.F. Trucking Company has announced that they will continue their associate sponsorship support for Jeff Arend and the CMKXtreme Machine Funny Car team for the entire 2005 NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series season.

V.F. Trucking owner and president, Vincent Ferrone, was on hand with the CMKXtreme Machine team at the season-opening NHRA Winternationals in Pomona to lend his morale support. “I was impressed with the team’s efforts in Pomona,” said Ferrone. “I think the 4.79 that the CMKXtreme car ran during qualifying is just a hint of the good things to come for this team. Jeff’s a great driver and crew chief Paul Smith is as savvy a tuner as there is in the sport. I'm very excited about what’s in store for the 2005 season,” Ferrone added, “especially once they get a handle on the new chassis with the Monte Carlo body. We're very proud to be associated with Jeff Arend, Urban and Ron Casavant and everyone with the CMKXtreme team. It’s going to be a thrilling year of racing.”

Ferrone runs the V.F. Trucking Company out of Rockaway, New Jersey with his sons James and Nicholas. He started the family owned and operated company by himself with one truck in 1987 and today employs over 100 workers, serving the Port of New York/New Jersey. The company is bonded by U.S. Customs and has I.C.C. authority to operate in 48 states.
